How can an external recipient answer an RFI without an account?

  1. Submit the request to an external assignee and create the private response link from its details.
  2. Explicitly select eligible reference files. Sharing a section can expose its whole source file: review the complete file before granting access.
  3. Share the complete private link with the intended recipient, or use the separately enabled reviewed email action.
  4. The recipient writes the response, confirms their identity and submits once. This records an answer; it does not close the request.

The link is a private, expiring, single-use capability. Do not publish it. Replace or revoke it explicitly when needed. Reopening requires a new link for the new response cycle. If a management save is uncertain, refresh the RFI before another action.

Attach files to the answer.
