What does the onboarding checklist mean?

Onboarding Checklist

The checklist confirms that the workspace has enough structure to run a real first daily report.

  • Company profile created - the tenant exists and has basic defaults.
  • First project created - daily reports need a project to attach to.
  • Starter crew, equipment, and materials seeded - dropdowns will not be empty.
  • Activity codes and payment items ready - entries can be cost-coded and linked to contract or payment tracking.
  • Starter budget seeded - early cost-drift signals have a budget to compare against.
  • Admin assigned to first project - the founder can access the project after setup.
  • Daily report smoke test ready - the minimum dependencies are in place.

Red blocking rows must be fixed before Finish works. The sample-project preview is safe to open and does not complete or reset onboarding.
