- Double-click a BOQ work item or choose Open item.
- Choose Add sub-item. A sub-item is the internal activity used to build that item's cost. Enter its description, nonnegative work quantity, unit and positive productivity.
- Expand the activity heading to enter its resources. The main item's total includes its activities once.
- Use Edit details to change scope, Move to assign the activity to another main item, or Duplicate to review and create a copy.
The left BOQ list switches between items and activities. Back to BOQ returns to the overview. Save or cancel unfinished resource and productivity edits before navigating.
