How do I prepare a bid in Estimating?

Open Estimating from the application header or Admin → Estimation. It is available to Admin users where the estimating workspace is enabled.

  1. Select or create an opportunity and estimate in the Bid pipeline.
  2. Build the BOQ, then add activities and resources to price its work.
  3. Complete Review and prepare selling prices in Closing.
  4. Check the customer BOQ in Reports, then use Issue bid to preserve the final version.

You can keep interim work in revision snapshots. Estimating prepares pre-award costs; it does not change live project budgets or actual costs.
