Linking Entries to a Work Order
There are three ways entries appear in a WO report:
1. Manual — Select WO during data entry
On the Labor, Equipment, Materials, or Subcontractor tabs, choose the WO from the Work Order dropdown before confirming. The entry links directly.
2. Automatic — Activity code match
If the WO has an activity code set, any committed entry using the same activity code automatically appears in the WO report.
3. Nightly auto-tag
TCC runs a nightly batch that scans daily notes and subcontractor descriptions for keyword matches against active WOs. Matched entries appear with an amber "Auto-detected" badge in the report.
Splitting hours
If a worker spent 8 hours regular and 4 hours on extra work, create two entries: one without WO (regular) and one with the WO selected (extra work).
