- On the BOQ overview, choose Add indirect item for shared costs such as site supervision or facilities. You can also edit an existing item and change its Cost category to indirect.
- Build its activities and resources as usual.
- Choose Allocate indirect cost. Distribute equally across selected direct items, equally across all direct items, or with custom percentages totaling 100.
- Save and check Saved distribution and the recipient items' allocated indirects.
Allocation shares an existing cost rather than adding it twice. Unallocated costs remain in the draft total, but must be allocated before a snapshot or completed review. Update allocations before removing a named recipient.
