About TCC

TCC was built by people who have managed construction projects — not by a software company that decided to enter the market. The product exists because we spent years watching cost overruns form in the gap between what happened on site and what showed up in reports.

Where TCC comes from

TCC is developed by Projestim, a Quebec-based company focused on construction project controls and heavy equipment intelligence. Before TCC, the team built Machloc — a heavy equipment marketplace used by contractors and rental companies across Canada — and Projestim AI, a project controls assistant used by estimators and project managers.

The common thread across all three products is the same: construction decisions are only as good as the data behind them. And in most construction companies, the data that matters most — what actually happened on site today — is the hardest to capture, structure, and act on.

Machloc

Heavy equipment marketplace — find, compare, and price construction machinery. Built to solve the information gap in equipment selection and costing for civil contractors.

Projestim AI

AI assistant for construction project controls — estimates, schedules, and cost analysis. Built to give project managers faster access to the analytical work that usually takes days.

TCC — Total Cost Control

Field-first cost control platform. Built to close the gap between daily field execution and cost visibility — so project managers see cost drift in 24–72 hours instead of at month-end.

What we believe

Every decision behind TCC comes from a few principles we learned on actual projects — not from a product strategy deck.

The field is the source of truth

Cost overruns don't start in accounting. They start with daily operational deviations on the jobsite — extra hours, idle equipment, material drift. If you don't capture it at the source, you're always reacting instead of controlling.

The tool must adapt to the job

We don't blame foremen for not using software that wasn't designed for their reality. If the tool is too slow, too complex, or too far from how work actually happens, the tool is the problem — not the crew.

Earlier is everything

A cost signal that arrives in 48 hours is actionable. The same signal at month-end is an autopsy. TCC is built around one idea: surface the variance while there's still time to do something about it.

Simple data beats complex reports

A foreman who logs workers, equipment, materials, and production in 10 minutes generates more cost intelligence than a monthly report that takes a week to compile. Structured daily capture is the foundation — everything else is derived.

Why Quebec — and why French-first

TCC is built in Quebec, for Quebec contractors first. The product interface is natively bilingual — French and English — because that's how construction works here. Not as a translation layer added after the fact, but as a core design decision from day one.

In a market where every major competitor operates in English only, this matters. Quebec's civil construction industry operates in French. The daily reports are in French. The foremen speak French. The regulatory environment — including Bill 96 — requires it. TCC doesn't treat French as a secondary language. It's the primary one.

Who TCC is for

TCC is designed for small and mid-size civil construction contractors — the companies that run earthworks, road building, infrastructure, and utility projects. Project managers who need to see where margin is eroding. Foremen who need a daily report that takes minutes, not hours. Estimators who want historical field data to sharpen future bids.

If you manage workers, equipment, and materials on civil construction sites and you're tired of discovering cost problems at month-end, TCC was built for you.
