What's the difference between pending and committed entries?

Pending vs. Committed Entries

  • Pending - saved to the report but still editable before final commit. Use this state while the foreman or superintendent is still reviewing the day.
  • Committed - locked as the official record. Committed rows feed reports, payroll/job-cost export, cost summaries, productivity tracking, and Early Signals.

If a pending row is wrong, edit or delete it before committing the report. If a committed row is wrong, ask an admin to unlock, reject, or correct the report according to your company workflow.
